We just released a new publishing feature in Type that lets you share your ideas with collaborators or the world.
You can now share Type documents in two ways.
View-only URLs
Generate and share a view-only link to any document. Anybody with the link will be able to view the content of your document.
Click on the Publish button to the left of the side panel icon. In the Publish document pop-up, make sure View-only URL is selected, and click Create link.
Blog posts
Create and host your own custom Type blog and publish any document as a post.
Click the Publish button to the left of the side panel icon. In the Publish document pop-up, make sure you've selected Blog post. If this is your first post, you'll need to set create your blog first. Set your profile picture, display name, blog path, and blog description. Once you've saved your profile, you can publish a post with a custom URL. You can change your blog and post URLs at anytime, but keep in mind that doing so will break older links with the previous URL.
With both, you can always unpublish links or posts to make your work private again, and any edits you make to a document will be automatically reflected in its published state.
We look forward to seeing what you write!
